A Note From Ann
WE OUGHT TO LIVE ON PURPOSE FOR GOD
I recently purchased a foot/leg exerciser/peddler. (No, real-
ly, Im gonna use it, some day!) Its small. The other day I
tripped over it. Luckily, I didnt fall. I need to pay closer aen-
on to the steps I take. I need to walk on purpose, with pur-
pose, so I wont trip again, and fall.
We oen hear, or ourselves ask, Why am I here?I chal-
lenge you to go before God in prayer, asking Him to show you
your giing, or His purpose, for your life. (God created each of
us for a purpose. Everyone has been given at least one gi of
the Holy Spirit.)
Romans 8:28: And we know that in all things God
works for the good of those who love him, who have been
called according to his purpose.
God works in all things, He doesnt pick and choose which
ones, for our good. Evil, and the momentum of the spread of
evil, pervades this darkened world. But God can turn every
negave circumstance around for our long-range good, if we
let Him in.
However, God doesnt work to make us happy, (happiness/
joy comes from obeying Him), but to fulll His purpose in us.
This verse is a promise; but its not for everyone.
5
Only those who love God and are called according to His
purposecan claim this promise. The ones that are called are
those who have asked Jesus Christ into their hearts as Lord and
Savior of their lives. In other words, only Chrisans can claim
this promise. It doesnt apply to non-Chrisans, (unbelievers).
Once one has invited Jesus in, they have a new mind-set, or
outlook, on life. They trust in God, not lifes treasures,
(material things); they seek security in God, and the fact that
they are going to Heaven one day, not in anything here on
earth. They choose to accept, rather than resent, pain and tri-
als, because God is with them. God is in control, always!
Praise Him!
Let us learn what gi(s) God has given us, using them to walk
on purpose/with Gods purpose for our lives.
All praise, honor, and glory to our heavenly Father, Amen!
In Christ,
Ann
